Tampa, FL- Coincidently both of the High Score Champions at the SDCTA Classics Shows were won by presidents of GMO’s (Group Member Organizations) And the similarity don’t end there! At Saturday’s SDCTA Classic I Show, the High Score Champion was Charlotte Trentelman riding her Holsteiner mare, Kismette to a score of 74.706% at first level. Trentelman is the president of the STRIDE, USDF GMO located in North Central Florida. On Sunday, at the SDCTA Classic II Show, the High Score Champion was Anna Urquhart riding her Hanoverian gelding, Favio to a 74.792%. Urquhart is the president of the Suncoast Dressage & Combined Training Association, SDCTA, the Tamp based USDF, GMO that hosted the dressage shows.

In addition, both champion presidents have their sights set on the USDF Regional Championships coming up in Jacksonville, Florida. And both champs have owned and trained their champion mounts since very early ages. Urquhart acquired Favio when he was only 7 months old and Trentelman has owned Kismette since birth.

High Sponsor, Jo McCracken of Mobile Horse Supply was on hand at the show and had this to say,” It’s great when good things happen to those who give back so much to the sport.” Tentelman who won the Mobile Horse Supply championship cooler, is a USDF judge and area delegate, along with being the STRIDE president.

Meanwhile, sponsor, Susan Rubin from Beyond the Barn , a Wellington-based equine emporium was equally thrilled. “I look forward to having a great contributor like Anna on our Wall of Fame. All Beyond the Barn sponsored champions are displayed on the store’s “wall of fame”. “When are newly designed store is completed in mid-October, our newest champions will be honored along with all our BTB champions from the past seven years. “added a delighted Rubin.
