Lexington, KY - The Barbury Castle Horse Trials in Marlborough, England will
be the final Mandatory Outing for eventing athletes attempting to claim a
spot on the U.S. Eventing Team at the 2012 Olympic Games. The event runs
June 28 - July 1, 2012. More information about the competition, which will
serve as a final preparation for several international teams, can be found
at http://www.barburyhorsetrials.co.uk/
As stated in the Selection Procedures, all short listed athlete/horse
combinations will be required to demonstrate their continued preparation,
soundness, and ability by competing at the Mandatory Outing. U.S. selectors
and veterinarians will be on hand to observe.
The 2012 Land Rover U.S. Eventing team will be announced on July 2, 2012.
